Databricks Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Databricks Solutions Architect who blends deep technical expertise with strong communication and business acumen. In this position you will act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, guiding the design and implementation of scalable solutions on the Databricks platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to translate customer requirements into Databricks‑based solutions, delivering demos, proof‑of‑concepts and technical workshops.
• Create architectural diagrams, pitch decks and technical content that showcase best practices and the value of Databricks.
• Produce and publish blog posts, solution guides, notebooks and reusable assets; represent the company at events, meetups and webinars.
• Guide customers through implementation plans, data‑architecture strategies and migration road‑maps, acting as the technical liaison between customer engineering teams and Databricks.

Required profile

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Confidence presenting to executives, leading workshops and driving technical sales cycles.
• Creative, education‑focused mindset with a passion for evangelism and enablement.

Required skills

• 3+ years hands‑on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark or other cloud data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and MLflow.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and data‑pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or dbt.
• Experience designing solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, security best practices and cost‑optimization in modern data stacks.
