Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer (.NET/Vue)

About the role

Sparq is looking for a Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable .NET applications and modern cloud‑native web solutions. You will work with a diverse, collaborative team, leveraging cutting‑edge technologies across multiple industries while driving modernization from legacy SOAP services to REST‑based architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications across web, API, desktop, Windows Service, and background‑processing workloads.
• Enhance production‑critical WinForms applications and SOAP/WCF service layers with bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features.
• Build cloud‑native web applications using C#.NET 6+, TypeScript, Vue.js, REST APIs, and Azure services.
• Partner with Solution Architects to apply architectural patterns, technical standards, and modernization priorities.
• Define and execute migration from legacy SOAP services to modern REST‑based APIs.
• Design, document, and maintain REST APIs with Swagger and OData.
• Develop and optimise SQL Server databases, including data models, queries, and stored procedures.
• Containerise applications with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, and Helm; create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy.
• Monitor application health with observability tools, resolve performance issues, and support on‑call rotation.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven leadership experience in full‑stack development.
• Strong background in .NET ecosystem, Azure cloud services, and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to guide teams through legacy‑to‑modern migration initiatives.
• Proactive problem‑solver who embraces AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.
