About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated Database Administrator to join our remote team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing databases across AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server environments for clients in various industries.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain AWS Aurora and other cloud database services.
- Support legacy SQL Server instances and ensure their stability.
- Monitor database performance, tune queries, and implement optimization strategies.
- Manage backup, recovery, security, and high‑availability configurations.
- Troubleshoot database issues and work closely with development and IT teams.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS Aurora and AWS database environments.
- Proven experience with SQL Server in legacy settings.
- Good command of database concepts, SQL, and DBMS technologies.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
