About the role
The Point of Sale Assistant will work on the restaurant floor, providing friendly service to customers, handling cash transactions, and coordinating orders for dine‑in, takeaway, and delivery. The role requires a collaborative attitude and a passion for serving guests in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Attend to customers at the counter, taking orders and processing cash payments.
- Manage delivery orders through mobile apps and coordinate take‑away pickups.
- Prepare basic food items according to the restaurant’s standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen utensils, and workstations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation across all tasks.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food‑service setting.
- Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to assist with any required task.
- Enjoyment of direct customer interaction and a service‑oriented attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Soft Restaurant point‑of‑sale system.
