Agentic Software Engineer (OpenAI Codex) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking an Agentic Software Engineer specialized in OpenAI Codex to work remotely with U.S. clients. You will join client teams, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver AI‑accelerated full‑stack solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into client development teams and contribute to both frontend and backend tasks.
• Leverage OpenAI Codex as the primary development environment to generate and coordinate code across large, multi‑file systems.
• Design AI‑first workflows from specification through deployment, ensuring production‑ready quality.
• Maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines, applying disciplined human‑in‑the‑loop review for safety‑critical code.
• Iterate on AI‑generated output using structured feedback loops and improve context engineering practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep understanding of full‑stack architectures (Java, Python, C#, React, Node, etc.).
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with OpenAI Codex for AI‑driven code generation.
• Proven ability to translate complex product requirements into AI‑friendly specifications.
• Strong curiosity for emerging AI‑native engineering practices and Agile/Lean methodologies.
