Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Coordinator to manage the scheduling and dispatch of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing technicians. The role operates in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment and relies on the BuildOps platform to ensure timely service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch and schedule field technicians using BuildOps.
• Coordinate emergency service calls and preventive‑maintenance appointments.
• Monitor technician routes, job status, and completion times.
• Update work orders, service notes, and customer records within BuildOps.
• Communicate with customers about technician ETA, scheduling, and service updates.
• Prioritize urgent requests while optimizing overall technician schedules.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and follow up on open work orders.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with the BuildOps platform.
• Background dispatching commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing technicians.
• Ability to thrive in a 24/7, fast‑paced service environment.
• Strong scheduling, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Calm decision‑making during emergency dispatch situations.
