Oil Operator

About the role

The Oil Operator will support the Oil Operations Team Lead by managing the commercial physical oil product operations across Latin America. This position works closely with the trading department to ensure seamless execution of oil trades and related logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all shipping and logistics activities to successfully execute oil trades.
• Liaise with contractual counterparts and third‑party service providers on post‑deal activities.
• Follow up on contracts and perform administrative tasks to support the operations area.
• Approve and control related costs, keeping the internal system up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate invoice entry with accounting and material movements with warehouses.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Monitor customer exposure and ensure compliance with internal limits.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within trading or logistics companies.
• University degree in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields.
• Strong English proficiency (B2 level) and advanced Spanish proficiency (C2 level).
• Willingness to learn, adaptability, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
