About the role
We are looking for a Statistics & Python expert to join our pool of freelance AI trainers. You will help design and validate computational statistics problems that are used to test, evaluate and improve AI systems for leading tech companies.
Key responsibilities
- Design original computational‑statistics problems that mimic real mathematical research workflows.
- Create Python‑based problem statements using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy and SymPy.
- Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
- Develop challenges in number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, numerical analysis and related areas.
- Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications.
- Verify solutions programmatically and document problem statements with clear, correct answers.
Required profile
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in applied statistics, research or teaching.
- Strong written English (C1 level or higher).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS, CAP) are a plus.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- NumPy, SciPy, SymPy, Pandas.
- MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (or equivalent).
What we offer
- Project‑based freelance contracts with flexible hours (estimated 10‑20 h/week during active phases).
- Compensation up to $17 per hour, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
