LLM Engineer – Remote

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer across its workflows. As an LLM Engineer you will own and ship internal automation systems, turning roadmap items into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, including tool use and function calling.
• Build internal tools that reduce manual hours in design and development processes.
• Create automation pipelines linking WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and the internal CMS.
• Implement MCP server integrations as part of the broader AI stack.

Required profile

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English proficiency sufficient for asynchronous written work with a US‑based team.
