Spanish Language Expert – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Spanish speaker to help train next‑generation AI models. Working remotely, you will evaluate and improve Spanish content, ensuring high linguistic quality and cultural relevance for both Latin American and European variants.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Spanish items, identify errors such as mistranslations, missing accents, tone mismatches, and inconsistent terminology.
• Provide feedback and guidance to trainers and quality‑assurance contributors via Discord and other communication channels.
• Update and maintain project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, trackers, and onboarding materials.
• Manage contributor activation by contacting inactive members, tracking follow‑ups, and flagging availability issues.
• Communicate project changes, new guidelines, and quality expectations to the remote team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Translation, Journalism, Education, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in Spanish with strong reading and writing abilities.
• Excellent command of English for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Spanish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, or related language‑review workflows.
• Familiarity with both Latin American and European Spanish variants and the ability to specify supported variants.
