About the role
Canonical is looking for a Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager to drive collaboration with leading semiconductor partners. You will act as the bridge between Canonical’s Ubuntu platform and silicon vendors, shaping joint roadmaps and go‑to‑market strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Represent Canonical and its solutions to silicon partners.
- Develop deep knowledge of partner technologies, strategies and product roadmaps.
- Identify overlaps between partner offerings and Canonical’s current/future products.
- Work cross‑functionally with engineering, product, marketing and sales to define joint solutions and complex programs.
- Lead the creation of joint product definitions, go‑to‑market plans and new business models.
- Manage partnerships ranging from exploratory collaborations to strategic, large‑scale alliances.
- Travel globally to sprints, events and partner meetings as required.
Required profile
- Passion for both hardware and software technologies.
- Strong interest in business development and partnership management.
- Ability to navigate complex technical challenges and quickly learn new concepts.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across global, cross‑functional teams.
- Flexibility to work remotely and accommodate a schedule that supports partners in the Americas.
