Shopify Developer (Mid-senior, LATAM based)

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑senior Shopify Developer to join Seta Workshop’s Shopify practice. You will work on a portfolio of e‑commerce clients, extending a shared theme framework and delivering custom storefront and API integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, Vite, Tailwind, Lit web components and nanostores.
• Integrate Shopify Storefront and Admin GraphQL APIs to build custom features and third‑party app connections.
• Implement Shopify Functions, metafields and metaobjects to extend native platform capabilities.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests with Vitest and Playwright, and enforce code quality with theme‑check, ESLint and Prettier.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and develop locally with Shopify CLI.
• Participate in architectural decisions, evaluating when native Shopify features suffice versus when custom development is required.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on Shopify development experience.
• Strong expertise in Liquid and theme architecture (sections, blocks, metafields, metaobjects).
• Proven experience with Shopify Storefront or Admin APIs and building or integrating Shopify apps.
• Ability to explain technical trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) as part of daily workflow.
