Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Galileo Financial Technologies is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale credit and loan systems for leading fintech companies. You will work on mission‑critical services that impact millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive system design and architecture decisions.
• Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of AI‑focused solutions.
• Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code in production.
• Generate ideas for process improvement, new initiatives, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams on new features.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Python and JavaScript (React and Node.js).
• Experience in AI/ML roles is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with Continuous Delivery, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong expertise with cloud and data‑store technologies, preferably within a microservice architecture (AWS, Azure, MongoDB).
• Fluent English; banking or fintech experience is desirable.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
