About the role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale innovative, secure backend systems that address high‑impact problems. You will work within a hybrid setting in Montevideo, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust migration solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale high‑availability backend services.
- Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to create safe, automatable migration strategies.
- Build abstractions and models that translate complex migration processes into coherent workflows for engineering teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience in backend development and building distributed, high‑availability systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience designing state machines, rule engines, or workflow orchestration.
- Familiarity with Fury services and relational databases for complex domain modeling.
