Senior NetSuite Technical Consultant (Contract - Flexible)

About the role

SixLakes Consulting is looking for an experienced Senior NetSuite Technical Consultant to join our remote team on a flexible contract basis. You will lead full‑cycle NetSuite implementations, create custom solutions, and provide strategic technical guidance to a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end NetSuite implementations, from discovery and requirements analysis to deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Design, develop, and deploy custom SuiteScript (1.0/2.0/2.1) solutions, including Map/Reduce, Client, User Event, Suitelet, and Restlet scripts.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP and iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Workato, Boomi, and Mulesoft.
• Provide architectural guidance, data‑modeling advice, and performance optimization for complex business scenarios.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to align technical delivery with business goals.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, deployment plans, and code annotations.
• Deliver technical training, handoffs, and developer‑level documentation to enable client self‑sufficiency.
• Support post‑go‑live issues, implement enhancements, and continuously improve solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on NetSuite experience, preferably with NetSuite certification.
• Proven experience delivering full‑cycle NetSuite implementations for clients across multiple industries.
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field is preferred.

• REST/SOAP integration development.
• iPaaS tools: Celigo, Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft.
• Saved Searches, Dashboards, Reports, NetSuite Workflows, SuiteAnalytics.
