Senior Fullstack Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our client as a foundational technical hire and key engineering partner to the CTO. This high‑ownership role involves building features end‑to‑end, shaping architectural decisions and influencing the long‑term technical direction of the product.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full development lifecycle of new features, from design through production deployment.
• Collaborate with the CTO on technical strategy, architecture and long‑term planning.
• Design and maintain scalable frontend applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Build and enhance backend services with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy and Celery.
• Make architectural decisions, evaluate trade‑offs and establish best‑practice development standards.
• Identify and reduce technical debt, improving code quality, maintainability and reliability.
• Implement real‑time functionality using streaming, Server‑Sent Events and WebSockets.
• Define testing strategies for both frontend and backend to ensure stability and scalability.
• Mentor other developers and raise overall engineering standards.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional fullstack development experience.
• Proven ability to independently deliver production‑level applications.
• Strong decision‑making skills for architecture while balancing scalability, complexity and delivery speed.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team serving Latin America.
