Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Digital Media & News Tech

About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to join the Growth Products team of a world‑leading news organization. You will build and optimise high‑traffic web and mobile applications that drive user onboarding, checkout, registration and donation funnels.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and scale registration workflows, secure checkout systems and friction‑free donation architectures.
• Create personalised onboarding experiences and automated marketing messaging to boost reader activation.
• Plan, implement and analyse A/B and multivariate experiments across the customer journey.
• Integrate and configure enterprise subscription/paywall platforms (Zephr) and Customer Data Platforms (BlueConic) for entitlement logic.
• Build, secure and maintain custom APIs and micro‑service integrations handling subscriber transactions.
• Develop and deploy personalisation and predictive‑logic engines to increase conversion and retention.

Required profile

• Data‑driven software engineer with a strong growth mindset.
• Proven experience building high‑traffic digital applications for web and mobile.
• Ability to translate product goals into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience working at the intersection of product engineering and conversion optimisation.
