Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Qubika designs, develops and deploys custom software solutions for organizations making an impact through technology. It is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join its team.

Required profile

• Experience with Databricks: Unity Catalog (catalogs/schemas, grants, lineage, tags), Metric Views, Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and Delta Lake.
• Advanced SQL skills, data modeling and data preparation and cleaning for analytical and AI use cases.
• Experience with Spark for data transformations and orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar.
• Experience with PII, access control and data residency requirements, ideally in regulated environments such as fintech.
• English at B2 level or higher, able to communicate professionally.

Nice-to-have

• CDC and Databricks native connectors (Postgres)
• Basic knowledge of MSK/Kafka, authentication/OAuth and connectivity with external AWS services
• Fintech or credit data experience
