About the role
We are looking for a senior backend software engineer to join Delivery Hero’s remote engineering team. You will own complex technical initiatives from problem definition through design, implementation, deployment and post‑production support.
Key responsibilities
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of complex technical initiatives, including design, implementation, deployment and post‑production follow‑up.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues using data, logs, metrics, traces and code analysis to identify root causes.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews and architecture decisions, clearly communicating trade‑offs.
Required profile
- Solid experience developing backend services in Golang.
- Senior‑level professional with proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Experience with distributed architectures and microservices.
