Senior Accountant – Hospitality Industry

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to support its fast‑growing portfolio of hospitality clients. You will own month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP, and act as a trusted partner for multiple property owners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end and year‑end close, preparing P&L and balance sheet statements on schedule.
• Streamline balance‑sheet reconciliations as client volume expands.
• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple properties or client accounts.
• Integrate and operate hospitality and accounting platforms to process daily financial data.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements to strengthen internal controls and enhance client service.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, full‑cycle accounting, and financial reporting.
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
