Recruiter – Talent Acquisition Lead

About the role

Partner One Capital is seeking a proactive Recruiter to lead all recruitment initiatives for its portfolio of start‑up software companies. You will partner with hiring managers across departments to define candidate profiles and manage the full hiring cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Collaborate with managers to refine job requirements and create compelling postings.
• Source active and passive talent through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and direct outreach.
• Conduct background and reference checks, negotiate offers, and prepare employment documentation.
• Maintain communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
• Track new‑hire data to inform future workforce planning.
• Assist employees with HR, payroll, and benefits inquiries for Canada and the US.
• Provide administrative support to executive leadership and contribute to ad‑hoc HR projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in technology or software.
• Demonstrated ability to hire technical roles and manage global hiring processes.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Strong professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent time‑management, organization, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Experience using job boards, cold‑calling, and headhunting techniques.
