QA Automation/SDET + Java Technical Leader (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a senior QA Automation Engineer who will also act as a Java Technical Leader. The role is fully remote and involves close collaboration with Product Owners to shape test strategies, define acceptance criteria, and ensure high‑quality delivery of software products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality‑assurance and test‑automation strategies across multiple projects.
• Partner with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria, ready and done definitions.
• Identify and prioritize critical business cases for automation.
• Design and implement Java‑based automation frameworks.
• Configure and maintain Jenkins pipelines for automated test execution.
• Own test modules from design through integration.
• Provide technical leadership to the QA automation team.
• Research emerging testing technologies and communicate their value.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation using Java.
• Strong background in Agile development environments.
• Proven track record delivering automated test solutions and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish (native) and English (advanced).
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, stakeholder meetings, and project planning.
