Order Management Analyst – Comex

About the role

The Order Management Analyst – Comex supports foreign‑trade related operations, ensuring compliance with current rules, regulations and legislation. The role contributes to continuity and sustainability of BASF’s business by managing import and export processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute, process and follow up on foreign‑trade operations, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to deadlines.
• Monitor progress of operations, identify risks or deviations, and perform escalations when needed.
• Validate documentation for accuracy and compliance, preventing errors, rejections and additional costs.
• Ensure compliance with foreign‑trade regulations, monitor licences, registrations and customs clearance requirements.
• Coordinate with business units, freight forwarders, customs brokers and other logistics service providers.
• Support operational KPIs, provide performance tracking and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or International Trade.
• 1‑3 years of experience handling import or export operations and special regimes.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese preferred.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication and customer focus.
