Order Management Analyst - Comex

About the role

The Order Management Analyst – Comex supports BASF’s foreign trade operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and continuity of business. The role focuses on processing import and export activities, monitoring performance, and coordinating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and follow up on foreign trade operations, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to deadlines.
• Monitor progress of shipments, identify risks or deviations, and escalate issues as needed.
• Validate documentation for accuracy and compliance to avoid rejections and additional costs.
• Ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations, manage licenses, registrations and customs clearance processes.
• Coordinate with business units, freight forwarders, customs brokers and other logistics providers to guarantee smooth execution.
• Support KPI tracking, deviation analysis and continuous improvement of import/export processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or International Trade.
• 1‑3 years of experience handling import or export operations, including special regimes.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and customer focus.
• Experience managing external service providers and fostering shared objectives.
