Supply Chain Analyst – Sample Management

About the role

Manage the end‑to‑end sample process from request receipt to delivery, ensuring timely communication of key events. Collaborate with internal BASF functions such as Sales, Supply Chain, Product Management and Technical Groups.

Key responsibilities

• Process domestic and import sample requests using Sales Orders and Purchase Orders in SAP.
• Monitor back‑order status via the HOM Report and assign correct usage codes.
• Coordinate with labs, shipping locations, corporate functions and regulatory teams to guarantee accurate order processing.
• Perform global inventory checks and track material movements in SAP.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and raise them to management.

Required profile

• University degree in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a similar service‑delivery role.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
