Marketing Development Manager – South America

About the role

HELI, a leading global manufacturer of industrial forklifts, is expanding its footprint in South America. We are looking for a Marketing Development Manager to drive regional brand positioning, generate high‑value leads, and support business growth across key markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage premium brand operations in the South American market, creating Spanish‑language content, case studies, and marketing collateral.
• Target top‑tier accounts in ports, large manufacturers, logistics firms, and other strategic industries to expand customer engagement and convert opportunities.
• Plan and execute high‑profile events such as seminars, conferences, and executive meetings, handling end‑to‑end logistics and VIP hospitality.
• Develop and nurture relationships with chambers of commerce, industry associations, government agencies, distributors, and enterprise clients.
• Conduct market research on forklift and material‑handling trends, competitor activity, and regional trade policies; produce strategic reports and manage the regional marketing budget.
• Collaborate closely with headquarters in China and local teams to align brand promotion, product localization, and market‑share initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.
• 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in forklift, heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or logistics sectors.
• Proven track record working across South American markets, especially Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
• Experience engaging premium client segments such as large manufacturers, port operators, and multinational corporations.
