Junior Tax Accountant / Data Entry Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Dimov Tax is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Tax Accountant / Data Entry Specialist to support its tax preparation team. The role involves accurately entering and organizing client tax information into Intuit ProConnect Tax, keeping confidential records and helping tax professionals with administrative and data-processing tasks during tax season and throughout the year. The position is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Enter client tax documents and financial information into Intuit ProConnect Tax accurately and efficiently.
• Review client documentation for completeness and identify missing information.
• Organize and maintain electronic tax files and supporting documents.
• Verify data accuracy before submission to senior tax preparers or accountants.
• Assist with importing, scanning and categorizing tax documents.
• Communicate with team members about missing or inconsistent client information.
• Follow established tax office procedures and data security protocols, and assist with administrative and clerical tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client financial and personal information and meet productivity and accuracy standards during high-volume tax periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting or tax concepts.
• Experience with data entry or administrative work preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and handle confidential information professionally.
• Preferred: experience in a tax office, bookkeeping firm or accounting environment; English level B2-C1.

Required skills

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and document management systems.
• Familiarity with Intuit ProConnect Tax or other tax software is a plus.
• Fast and accurate typing and data entry, careful document review, and good attention to detail.
