About the role
Canonical is looking for a Junior Project Manager to help streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source technologies across global enterprises. You will work with a distributed team, collaborating with customers, partners and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver programs and projects on schedule, within scope, budget and resource constraints.
- Identify and mitigate technical and project risks.
- Maintain strong customer focus and coordinate with all stakeholders.
- Organise regular status meetings and business reviews.
- Support delivery schedules for critical third‑party deliverables.
- Advocate Canonical’s technology portfolio to customers.
Required profile
- Strong academic record in science, software engineering or IT.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Solution‑oriented mindset with professional negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in school or university activities.
- Passion for technology shown through personal projects or initiatives.
