About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to lead the integral operation of our Distribution Center in Uruguay. The role involves ensuring productivity, quality and service targets while driving continuous improvement across all shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall operation of the Distribution Center, meeting productivity, quality and service objectives.
• Coordinate, develop and support supervisors and middle managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Standardize processes and work criteria across areas and shifts to guarantee operational efficiency.
• Monitor and manage performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous-improvement actions.
• Identify opportunities to optimise processes, resources and operational costs.
• Resolve operational deviations, bottlenecks and critical situations promptly.
• Promote continuous-improvement initiatives aimed at operational excellence.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering or a related field; additional training in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Administration is valued.
• Proven leadership experience in logistics or distribution centers, managing multi-area and multi-shift operations.
• Experience leading supervisors, middle managers and large teams, with strong conflict-resolution and coordination skills.
• Ability to develop teams through coaching, feedback and performance management.
