Intermediate/Senior WebApp Engineer

About the role

We are hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer, intermediate to senior, to join our small remote team. You will plan and ship features across our Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and MySQL platform. You will spend less time typing code and more time on design decisions, directing AI agents, and reviewing work closely, owning features from plan to release.

Key responsibilities

• Plan before building: break problems down, read existing code, write short plans and choose appropriate approaches.
• Direct AI agents such as Claude Code, providing clear context and scoped tasks while monitoring their output.
• Review all changes—whether from teammates or AI—catching bugs, security gaps, and design issues.
• Make architectural decisions on data models, API boundaries, and code placement.
• Turn design prototypes into production‑ready code with proper testing and security.
• Write tests, verify behavior, and ensure features work in production before marking them done.
• Maintain and improve AI workflow instructions, skills, and review processes.
• Own releases: ship features, monitor them in production, and fix any issues.

Required profile

• 4+ years building production web applications across the full stack.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience; familiarity with Vue.js or similar frameworks.
• Daily hands‑on experience with Claude Code or comparable agentic coding tools.
• Excellent code‑review skills and good architectural instincts.
• Habit of verifying output with tests, logs, or working screens.
• Clear written English for plans, prompts, and reviews.
• Comfortable working independently in a small remote team during Eastern Time business hours.
