Commercial Representative (B2C Agrochemicals) – Uruguay

About the role

The company is expanding its direct B2C operations in Uruguay and seeks the first commercial professional to build the market from the ground up and structure local operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the local B2C market by introducing the agrochemical portfolio directly to large‑scale farmers and strategic distributors.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting (hunter profile) to deal closure and post‑sales support.
• Achieve the annual sales targets set for the region.
• Conduct commercial negotiations within the company’s pricing policy and report directly to headquarters in China.
• Travel frequently for field visits and client relationship building.
• Structure and lead the future commercial team as operations expand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with solid sales experience in the agrochemical segment and B2C market.
• Active, consolidated client portfolio across major crops (soybeans, corn, wheat, sugarcane).
• Advanced or fluent English for constant communication with the Chinese headquarters.
• Strong hunting mindset, proactive, adaptable and results‑driven.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy and ownership mindset.
• Full availability for frequent travel and own vehicle, laptop and smartphone for work use.
