Sr. Java Developer

About the role

Promtior is seeking a Senior Java Developer to strengthen its Engineering team and help scale its Agentic AI solutions. You will work on production‑grade backend services that power predictive analytics, intelligent automation and AI‑driven chatbots.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java backend services using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Build robust APIs and integrate with relational databases through JPA/Hibernate.
• Implement micro‑service architectures and apply patterns such as Circuit Breaker, idempotency and SAGA.
• Collaborate with product, technology and other developers, participate in code reviews and testing.
• Support the full development lifecycle from design to production deployment, including containerisation with Docker.

Required profile

• Prior experience creating APIs or backend services in Java.
• Strong understanding of JVM performance, memory usage and optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices, distributed systems and container technologies.
• Continuous learning attitude and technical curiosity.
• Advanced English proficiency.
