Automation Tester Engineer

About the role

Automation Tester Engineer at TCS will design, develop and maintain automated test solutions across multiple technology stacks, ensuring high software quality for complex systems, integrations and data‑driven applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Selenium‑based automated tests using Java, C#, Salesforce or ETL technologies.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements to define test strategies and coverage.
• Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks.
• Develop automated scripts for web applications, APIs, data pipelines and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing, including data integrity validation.
• Implement Test Data Management strategies and support Salesforce UI/backend testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for continuous testing.
• Log, track and retest defects, providing clear reporting on test execution and quality metrics.
