Senior QE / Automation Tester

About the role

TCS is seeking a Senior QE / Automation Tester to join a collaborative, fast‑paced environment where technology and business intersect to deliver advanced machine learning and generative AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs and micro‑services.
• Create unit, integration, contract, regression, smoke and end‑to‑end test suites.
• Build automated API testing solutions and validate Azure‑based micro‑service integrations.
• Integrate automated testing into GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Establish quality gates, reporting, code‑coverage and release‑readiness controls.
• Design and execute load, performance, scalability, resiliency and recovery testing.
• Validate Terraform infrastructure changes and Azure or Kubernetes deployments.
• Coach developers on modern quality‑engineering practices and shift‑left testing.
• Participate in on‑call support for platform stability and quality‑related incidents.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Automation or DevOps.
• Strong technical background with experience in machine learning, large language models and data‑driven systems.
• Ability to solve complex problems and collaborate within cross‑functional, global teams.

Required skills

• Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, NUnit or xUnit.
• C#.NET and Python automation.
• Testing Azure applications, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud‑native architectures and distributed systems.
• GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• REST API and event‑driven architecture testing.
• Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI and contract testing.
• PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB.
• qTest, Tricentis Tosca, Apache JMeter, quality dashboards and automated reporting.
