Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Blend, a leading AI services provider, is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to drive data‑driven decision making across its marketplace and product lines. The role blends deep technical expertise with business acumen to deliver actionable insights, scalable reporting, and AI‑enabled analytical products.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, opportunities, and business insights.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize KPIs that measure product and business performance.
• Support marketplace and product analytics initiatives using advanced analytical methods.
• Design, build, and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and data‑driven presentations for stakeholders.
• Create and optimize data pipelines that feed reporting and analytical operations.
• Leverage Python, SQL, GCP, and AI tools to develop scalable analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with product, business, and technical teams to translate needs into analytical deliverables.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming large datasets.
• Advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI/reporting platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Background in marketplace and product analytics.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance analytical workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
