Copy Editor – Pharma Content

About the role

WPP Production is seeking a meticulous Copy Editor to support international pharma clients from its Uruguay office. You will ensure that all marketing and scientific assets meet the highest standards of accuracy, style, and brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Proofread and edit heavy content, correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation and style errors.
• Verify that copy adheres to predefined pharma industry and brand guidelines across multiple channels.
• Create, review and approve client assets for marketing platforms.
• Develop creative briefs and ensure content quality before publication.

Required profile

• Understanding of advertising, communication and business processes.
• Ability to conduct research and read medical/ scientific material.
• Comfortable working with multidisciplinary, international teams in a production environment.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Full‑time onsite availability during the first three months (09:30‑19:00).
• Verified experience in copy editing, proofreading or translation, preferably with pharma or medical content.
