Chief Revenue Officer

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to lead its enterprise sales, partner, channel, alliance, customer success and field engineering teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CRO will shape and execute the revenue strategy for a global open-source software leader.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall revenue strategy across enterprise sales, sales development, partner and channel programs.
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams including sales, alliances, customer success and field engineering.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align on growth targets and operational metrics.
• Implement program, process and metric-oriented initiatives to ensure sustainable, scalable growth.
• Provide insight into global enterprise software procurement dynamics and open-source market trends.

Required profile

• Proven senior executive experience in enterprise software or open-source revenue leadership.
• Strong operational and inspirational leadership capabilities.
• Deep understanding of global enterprise software selection and procurement processes.
• Passion for the impact of open source across compute and business domains.
