Card Disputes & Chargebacks Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Paymentology is seeking a Card Disputes & Chargebacks Specialist to manage the investigation and processing of chargeback claims across global card networks. This full‑time remote position supports clients in EMEA, LAC, and Asia, ensuring timely and accurate dispute resolution in line with card scheme requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cardholder claims regarding disputed transactions and conduct thorough investigations.
• Validate and analyse data from internal and third‑party systems to determine appropriate actions.
• Draft, submit, and manage dispute responses within defined timeframes, complying with regulatory standards.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and ongoing support to internal stakeholders and clients on resolved chargebacks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of card scheme regulations and ensure compliance throughout the dispute process.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of chargeback regulations, card scheme rules, and dispute procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to analyse complex transaction data and documentation.
• Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and customer‑orientation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
