Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for our US‑based clients. Working fully remote, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, oversee staff accountants and maintain compliance with TGG Way standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer invoicing, vendor bills, payroll and perform weekly P&L scrubs.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasts, resolve collections issues and supervise recurring weekly accounting processes.
• Complete monthly technical QA checklists, balance‑sheet workbooks, sales‑tax pre‑payments and approve journal entries.
• Finalize financial statements, notes, KPIs and executive summaries prepared by staff accountants.
• Conduct quarterly 941 reconciliations and prepare sales‑tax returns.
• Coordinate annual 1099 filings, chart‑of‑accounts reviews and personal‑property tax submissions.
• Lead new‑client implementations: assess existing processes, design new procedures and create initial reports such as cash‑flow forecasts and month‑end workbooks.

Required profile

• 4+ years of accounting experience with U.S. clients.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month‑end close, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (or NetSuite) proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, data organization, basic analysis).
