Senior Delivery Manager

About the role

Sparq is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead multiple delivery workstreams for a client engagement. You will coordinate two Java development pods, manage sequencing of the harness build, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee concurrent delivery workstreams, aligning dependencies, priorities, timelines, and resources across two Java pods.
• Own the sequencing of the harness build, ensuring integration with broader engagement milestones.
• Track fixed‑fee scope, budget, and milestones, escalating financial or delivery risks.
• Provide client‑facing reporting on progress, milestones, financials, risks, and decisions.
• Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders as a trusted delivery partner.
• Manage the full delivery lifecycle: planning, estimation, resource coordination, execution, status reporting, and closure.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and QA teams to develop delivery plans and resolve issues.
• Identify and manage delivery risks, blockers, scope changes, and cross‑team dependencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex technology engagements in a consulting environment.
• Strong financial discipline and ability to track fixed‑fee projects.
• Excellent communication skills for client reporting and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to keep multiple teams aligned in a fast‑paced setting.
