Machine Learning Engineer – Remote

About the role

Join BairesDev as a Machine Learning Engineer and lead the design, development, and production of end‑to‑end AI solutions. You will work with cutting‑edge LLMs, NLP models, and agentic AI to solve real business challenges for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑define ML, NLP and agentic AI solutions with product, engineering and data teams.
• Build data pipelines and feature‑engineering workflows using Python, PySpark and Databricks.
• Develop, train, evaluate and maintain traditional ML models and advanced LLM/NLP solutions (Transformers, embeddings, RAG, structured outputs).
• Design agent workflows that connect LLMs with tools, APIs, retrieval systems and business rules, including safety checks and observability.
• Package, deploy, monitor and retrain models on Databricks/MLflow and AWS, exposing FastAPI services for real‑time, batch and async workloads.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience delivering end‑to‑end machine‑learning, NLP and LLM solutions.
• Deep expertise in NLP, text intelligence and LLM techniques (tokenization, embeddings, semantic search, hallucination mitigation).
• Strong background in traditional ML (classification, regression, ranking, forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection, explainability).
• Proven production MLOps experience with Databricks, MLflow and AWS, including CI/CD, monitoring, drift detection and cost optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
