Cloud & SaaS Operations Manager

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a senior Cloud & SaaS Operations Manager to lead the administration, optimisation and security of a global fintech’s cloud‑based workplace technology stack. This strategic position will own SaaS platforms, identity and access management, compliance and automation initiatives across a fast‑moving, security‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise all SaaS applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, ensuring security, scalability and alignment with business needs.
• Define and enforce IAM policies, managing SSO, Microsoft Entra, MFA, conditional‑access and least‑privilege access.
• Implement Zero Trust principles, data‑protection policies, backup, retention and disaster‑recovery plans for all cloud services.
• Design and deploy workflow automation using Power Automate, Zapier, PowerShell, Python or API integrations to reduce manual effort.
• Identify, evaluate and roll out self‑service SaaS tools that improve employee experience while lowering support overhead.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, HR and People Operations to meet regulatory requirements, support audits and manage seamless onboarding/offboarding.
• Lead technology‑adoption programmes, providing training, communication and change‑management support.

Required profile

• Senior‑level IT leader with deep technical expertise in cloud workplace environments.
• Proven experience in fintech or high‑growth technology companies.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into secure, scalable solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills across IT, Security, Compliance and HR functions.
