Accounting to Reporting Senior Analyst – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Syngenta’s Finance Business Partnering team is looking for an Accounting to Reporting Senior Analyst on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in Montevideo. You will ensure accurate recording of transactions, support statutory and group reporting, and collaborate across finance functions to maintain high‑quality financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Record all business transactions in the ERP system in line with IFRS for group reporting and local GAAP for statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations to meet corporate IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Provide substantiation for financial balances, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Business Finance and other finance areas to verify account accuracy and support approvals.
• Contribute to overall financial compliance and data quality.

Required profile

• Graduate or advanced student in Accounting/Economics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Intermediate English proficiency (mandatory).
• Strong data accuracy, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
