IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

Join a talent pool that feeds the Inter‑American Development Bank’s (IDB) growing network of offices across Latin America and the Caribbean. As an IT Office Support Consultant you will provide end‑user assistance, maintain workstations and ensure smooth operation of IT tools for IDB personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line IT support for hardware, software, connectivity and training needs.
• Provision, configure and manage standard workstations throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment and ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with networking, telecommunications, security systems and coordinate with local service providers.
• Support the rollout of new IT initiatives and act as liaison between IT teams.
• Document incidents, requests and updates in ticketing systems and dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support or related field.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and experience in handling support tickets.
• Proficiency in English and at least one of Spanish, French or Portuguese.

• VMware / VDI environments
• Android and iOS mobile device management
• ITIL incident and service‑request processes (preferred)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (preferred)
• Familiarity with AI and generative AI technologies (preferred)
