About the role
Teltonika is expanding its presence in Uruguay and is looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager to lead the business development of its networking hardware portfolio. As the first dedicated commercial hire for the country, you will open the market, develop strategic accounts, build relationships with local partners and customers, and position Teltonika’s solutions across industrial and enterprise segments.
Key responsibilities
- Identify market opportunities and build a strong commercial pipeline for networking hardware in Uruguay.
- Prospect and engage potential clients, resellers, integrators, distributors and strategic partners.
- Generate new business through active hunting, cold outreach, networking and referrals.
- Lead commercial conversations, understand connectivity needs and present relevant Teltonika solutions.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate terms and drive deals to closure.
- Maintain long‑term relationships with customers and partners to expand Teltonika’s footprint.
- Monitor local market, competition and channel dynamics to support commercial strategy.
- Represent Teltonika at meetings, industry events and exhibitions, including possible international participation.
- Keep CRM data up‑to‑date with opportunities, accounts and pipeline information.
Required profile
- At least 5 years of experience selling networking equipment, telecom hardware or connectivity solutions.
- Commercially driven with a proven track record of generating revenue.
- Strong ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Based in Uruguay, preferably in Montevideo.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
