Senior Backend Developer (Java, AI‑Assisted)

About the role

Eron International is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build and maintain scalable micro‑services that power its global payment orchestration platform. The role blends hands‑on Java development with AI‑assisted workflows to accelerate delivery and improve quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and monitor event‑driven micro‑services using Java and Spring Framework.
• Propose and implement new micro‑service architecture solutions on Kubernetes.
• Integrate AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude) throughout the development lifecycle, from design to testing.
• Gather technical and design requirements and collaborate with designers, developers and system administrators.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and suggest innovative business solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a backend Java developer.
• Daily use of AI‑assisted development tools.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Aurora, DynamoDB, DocumentDB and S3.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Argo and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment; intermediate English proficiency.
• Fintech or payments project experience is a plus.
