Mathematics Expert – Remote Contract (20 hrs/week)

About the role

We create high‑quality STEM training data for frontier AI models. As a Mathematics Expert you will design rigorous, deterministic math problems that challenge state‑of‑the‑art AI systems and provide verified solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced mathematical problems for AI training and evaluation.
• Ensure each problem has exactly one verifiable correct answer.
• Write complete, reproducible solutions and clearly document the reasoning process.
• Use Python and relevant libraries to build computational workflows when needed.
• Maintain technical precision, reproducibility, and high‑quality English documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Strong research or industry experience in mathematical modeling, proof‑based reasoning, or computational mathematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with scientific libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas (or equivalents).
• Solid understanding of algorithms, numerical methods, and computational approaches.

What we offer

• Up to $40 USD per hour.
