Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our facility equipment. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on major facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical problems in production equipment.
• Install, adjust, repair, disassemble, replace, and reassemble equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with external contractors, procure parts and services as needed.
• Perform general maintenance tasks and assist engineering teams with facility projects.
• Plan and execute work that requires independent judgment and adaptation of standard procedures.
• Investigate and implement new process technologies of small to moderate scope.
• Provide training to associates on production equipment.
• Conduct unsupervised walk‑throughs to monitor facility conditions and report findings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic pressure systems.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
• Familiarity with CMMS and building automation systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and Microsoft Office.
