About the role

Signify is looking for a Key Account Manager to lead the Intelligent Buildings business in Montevideo. You will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth, and promoting the adoption of connected, sustainable lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage strategic relationships with installers, contractors, specifiers, project partners and end‑users across the customer ecosystem.
  • Lead the design and implementation of lighting projects that meet customer requirements while showcasing Signify’s connected and sustainable innovations.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (sales specialists, product marketing, supply chain, order desk, etc.) to ensure timely, high‑quality project delivery.
  • Achieve sales targets, revenue growth and profitability objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute an account strategy based on market insights to generate high‑growth opportunities.

Required profile

  • Proven experience managing medium to large lighting or smart‑building projects.
  • Strong ability to build multi‑level relationships with key stakeholders and influence product selection.
  • Excellent understanding of the lighting market, connected solutions and sustainability trends.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of connected lighting and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.
  • Familiarity with data‑analytics and AI applications in smart building environments.
