Vendor Relations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Vendor Relations Specialist to oversee vendor performance and ensure high‑quality property servicing across our portfolios. The role serves as the primary liaison between Operations and Vendor Management, handling escalated orders, monitoring service levels and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update a qualified field‑service vendor list by state, ensuring adequate coverage and timely work completion.
• Identify and coordinate onboarding of additional vendors in partnership with sourcing teams.
• Act as the main point of contact for escalated orders, prioritisation lists and vendor performance issues.
• Monitor key performance indicators, conduct regular performance meetings and create visual reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Manage vendor claims, legal or quality issues through designated platforms and resolve them promptly.
• Lead projects from initiation to completion, consolidating data for reporting and decision‑making while handling multiple priorities under pressure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service or vendor relationship management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including conflict resolution.
• Effective problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to complex issues.
• Demonstrated project‑management capability handling several tasks simultaneously.
